IIMR has developed a process for manufacture of Sorghum semolina (Coarse) through milling technology where the bran and germ from the starchy endosperm are separated so that the endosperm can be ground in to fine size rawa in a hammer mill prepared from 100% natural whole grains of superior quality. Excellent source of complex carbohydrates, protein, fibre, calcium, iron, zinc and agnesium. Free from “gluten”, Suitable for celiac patients. Low glycemic index food, suits better for diabetes, obese, hypertensive and CVD patients. No added preservatives. It has a shelf life of 3 months.
